Surya to stun the audience with his looks in Maatraan

Surya has been surprising fans with new looks in all his films. Be it Ghajini's six pack abs or old-age getup in Vaaranam Aayiram. In fact, the audience have got used to it and they have started expecting something new from his films. To keep his fans happy, the actor is continuing the trend in his next film Maatraan.

Earlier, there were reports that Surya would be seen in the role of Siamese twins. But KV Anand cleared the rumours that he is not playing the role of conjoined twins rather the actor will don five different getups. Now, it seems like that the director has increased that number to 20. Yes, the Rakta Charitrastar will reportedly have 20 different looks inMaatraan.

KV Anand is currently busy in Maatraan pre-production works and he is also busy consulting a few top class costume designers to give Surya a variety of looks in the film. He has roped in Kajal Aggarwal to pair the actor in the upcoming Tamil movie. He has retained his Ayan crew for this movie as well.

Shruti Hassan refuses to talk about her affair

Shruti Hassan, who has been linked up with Siddharth, has refused to talk about her love life. The actress has said that she does not feel any need to open up her personal life in public.

Speaking to the Times of India, the multi facet actress said that she can talk on her professional front for hours together, but her personal life is nobody's business. Recently, it was reported that Siddharth and Shruti Hassan have sought Kamal Hassan's blessings and have started living together. Her father reportedly approved their love and is happy for them. 

However, Shruti Hassan, who is making her Tamil debut with 7 Aum Arivu, has pinned her high hopes on the film. The actress plays the role of a scientist in the film. The movie directed by AR Murugadoss also features Surya in the dual role.

AR Murugadoss to direct Ajith Kumar!

Ace director AR Murugadoss will reportedly direct ultimate star Ajith Kumar in his next film. If reports are to be believed, the former has impressed the latter with a story for which the actor has given his consent to act in the film.

Rumours has it that AR Murugadoss has approached Ajith Kumar and has narrated the story in brief. The actor without any hesitation has given the green signal and has asked to come up with the complete script. 

Currently, AR Murugadoss is fully occupied with Surya and Shruti Hassan starrer 7 Aum Arivu. He is planning to release the movie in July. Whereas, Ajith Kumar is completely busy with Mangaatha. It is expected to hit the screens in June. Soon after this project, he will kick-start his much-publicized Billa 2. 

Murugadoss-Ajith project is expected to commence in early 2012. However, it may be recalled that they have worked before in Dheena, which went on to become a superhit movie of 2001.

Sun Pictures drops Avan Ivan!

Sun Pictures, which had reportedly acquired the theatrical rights of Avan Ivan, has dropped the project for an unknown reason. Now, producer Kalpathi S. Aghoram has decided to distribute the movie on his own through his AGS Entertainments. 

The latest movie's promotional poster shows that the movie will be distributed by the AGS Entertainments. Industry insiders claim that the deal, which was struck a fortnight ago, might have collapsed because of the political change in the state. 

The makers of the film have started the movie promotions in full swing. They are putting every effort to release it on June 3.

Kalpathi S Aghoram produced Avan Ivan is directed by Bala. The movie features Aarya, Vishal Krishna, Janani Iyer and Madhu Shalini in the key roles.

I'll never liplock: Tamannaah

Responding to the rumours that she has charged a whopping Rs 1.25 crores to perform a liplock scene with Jr. NTR in her upcoming Telugu film Oosaravelli, directed by talented director Surender Reddy, ravishing actress Tamannaah said that she will never liplock, stating that she is uncomfortable with kissing scenes.

The actress revealed that the first line in her contract say that she would never wear a bikini or act in a liplock scene. No matter how much money is offered, I will never do it, she said. The actress also lashed out at the media for spreading such rumours.

Kamal's Vishwaroopam: India's costliest film?

It came as a shocker when director Selvaraghavan opted out of his very ambitious project Vishwaroopam, which has Kamal Haasan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. It is said that since Selva couldn't complete his ongoing project Irandam Ulagam with Dhanush on time, the producers approached Kamal Haasan to wield the megaphone.
However, Kamal's Viswaroopam will have a different story altogether. Reportedly theManmadhan Ambu star has just retained the title for the film. Apart from that, he will also pen the screenplay, dialogues and lyrics for the film. Sources also confirm that Viswaroopamwill be a trilingual being made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. And if all goes well, this will be the costliest Indian film ever made. Interestingly, Selvaraghavan and Kamal Haasan are likely to team up for another project in future.
The shoot for Viswaroopam is now likely to begin in the first week of June and will be completed in 100 days. Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy will score the music of this film.

Asin says that she is not in love with Salman Khan

There are lots of rumors in Bollywood that Asin and Salman Khan are in deep love. Both of them have paired in London Dreams and Ready. When asked Asin about these continuous rumors, she said, " There are lots of rumors that we both are in love and that we are going to get married soon.

Apart from this there are also rumors that he is recommending me for getting heroine roles. My age is half of Salman Khan. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry seeing these rumors. I have a family and people who spread these rumors should understand that they are hurting the feelings of my family members.

I will get married to a South Indian and my marriage will not be held clandestinely. I will make my marriage known to everyone. I had already acted with Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Now I have been signed to pair with Sharukh Khan in the Hindi film titled Two States."
